研究目的・背景:

本プロジェクトでは、コンピュータ解析により、疾患に関わる多数の生体分子やその反応を「機能を生み出す一つのシステム」として理解し、それに基づく医薬品のデザインを目指しています。インフォマティクスを活用して、創薬標的周辺のシステムバイオロジーの理解を通した標的の選択性を高めるとともに、医薬品候補の薬効・動態・毒性を予測し、効率的な選定・デザインを達成することを目指しています。

  • I worked at a pharmaceutical company for 30 years and joined to this team.
  • My research interest: To identify the disease responsible genes from many candidate genes for common disease derived from genome sequencing. I want to find out drug targets by analyzing the network of the disease responsible genes.
